It’s funny how everything is public now. There used to be private moments. Special ones that “you had to be there to understand.” But now even the most private of endeavors could become public instantly.
I watched a Keith Jarrett documentary once in which he would not allow the film makers to record him practicing. He said something to the effect that it was an immensely personal and private act.
Is there anything that we have left in our own lives to share with a select few? Anything that is just between us and our maker? Especially for those of us who lead intentionally public lives, have you saved anything for those who you trust the most?
