Many of us struggle with a lack of time. We do a lot, and still feel that we haven’t done enough, or even everything we were supposed to do in a given day. Most of the time, we spend our time just trying to survive. That can take a lot of energy. In some places its harder than others.
As we work to survive we can struggle to find time for significant relationship, for the inner work of the heart and mind, for the formation of character. This seems backwards to me. We should have time for these things first. For these engender purpose, and a life without purpose is a loss to the world.
If there is anything we don’t have time for, we don’t have time to be purposeless.
